2009 International Advisors
As part of the W.I.N. community, the W.I.N. International Board of Advisors (IBA) brings together international women leaders from around the globe who assist W.I.N. in inspiring women leaders to action worldwide. It is a group of champions and functions as a sounding board, actively giving input, advice and useful contacts that facilitate the activities of the organization and promote the success of W.I.N.’s annual global leadership conference and other W.I.N. activities.

W.I.N. also thanks and appreciates all the support, input and enthusiasm it receives from the many others who contribute ideas and talent to continue to build the organization.

Zohreh Tabatabai (Iran/Switzerland), Director of Communication and Public Information, ILO
Zohreh is the Director of Communication and Public Information at the International Labour Organization, the Geneva-based UN agency that promotes rights at work, encourages decent employment opportunities, enhances social protection and strengthens dialogue in handling work-related issues. As a member of the ILO’s senior staff, Ms. Tabatabai has expanded the department’s mandate and has developed new strategies and tools for raising global awareness of the organization’s work. She supervises 85 staffers who are engaged in media relations, issue campaigns, publications, web activities and library services. Prior to her appointment at the ILO, Ms. Tabatabai spent 20 years at the United Nations in New York, most recently as Focal Point for Women and previously as the Coordinator of the UN’s Fiftieth Anniversary and Chief of the UN’s Public Services Section. Before arriving at the UN in 1980, Ms. Tabatabai served nearly 10 years as a diplomat in the Foreign Ministry of Iran.

Sarah Brady (United Kingdom/Italy), Director, Global Product Communications, Global Consumer Design, Whirlpool Corporation
Sarah was appointed director of Global Product Communications, Global Consumer Design (GCD) at Whirlpool Corporation in January 2008. Based at the GCD Studio in Cassinetta, Italy, she is accountable for global, strategic communications and activities supporting Whirlpool Corporation's Global Product Business Organization with a focus on employer branding, design image and innovation media. She also serves as principal external liaison for communication announcements, media relations and public relations for Whirlpool Corporation's Corporate Technology Organization. Sarah joined Whirlpool in 1999 as director of Corporate Communications and Corporate Relations for Europe. She holds an M.A. in Modern and Medieval Languages from Cambridge University, a Master in Public Relations and Public Affairs from Burson-Marsteller Italia and has recently completed an MBA with Liverpool University.

Rosanna D’Antona (Italy), Founder and President of D’Antona & Partners
In March 2003 Rosanna founded D’Antona&Partners, a company providing senior consultancy in communication and corporate communication. Major clients: ABI, Alessi, Barilla, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, BNL Group BNP Paribas, Deloitte Consulting, Ferrarelle, Moroccan Tourism Office, Pfizer Italia, Porsche Design, Sanofi Aventis, Sharp, Stanleybetting, Véolia Environment. (www.dantonapartners.it) Before founding D’Antona&Partners she was President & CEO of Edelman Europe for four years, after having been the General Manager of Edelman Milan which she founded in 1987 as Gruppo D’. Among her clients, there are many important multinational companies including Barilla, P&G, J&J and Unilever. On top of her professional commitment and presence in several association boards, Rosanna is currently scientific advisor, trainer and coach in Marketing & Communication for Il Sole 24 Ore Formazione. She is also strongly committed in many activities to promote “Women in business and leadership”. Among many seminars and conferences, she has held speeches for the W.I.N. annual conference since 2001 and has been coach for companies such as Accenture, A.T.Kearney, Woolwich Bank, Kodak, J&J, Shell, McKinsey. In 2002 she was awarded with the “Mela D’Oro” of Bellisario Foundation, a group whose mission is to promote women’s leadership in Italy. She has been the Regional Responsible in Lombardia for 5 years. Rosanna has a degree as an interpreter in English and French from the Haut Institut d'Interpretariat of Milan and attended Boston University, Massachusetts to major in Public Relations. She is married with 2 daughters, Francesca and Anna.

Nuria Chinchilla (Spain), Professor of Managing People in Organizations, IESE, University of Navarra
Nuria is Professor in Managing people in organizations and Director of the International Centre on Work and Family. She is an Economist and Lawyer and holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Business Management, IESE Business School, University of Navarra, a Master in Business Administration, IESE, University of Navarra and a B.A. in Law, University of Barcelona. Her areas of specialization include women and power, family-responsible organizations managerial competencies, career and time management, interpersonal conflict and not-for-profit organizations. In 1984, she became a permanent member of IESE's faculty. Prof. Chinchilla is a business and government consultant and member of several Advisory Boards including the VIP Advisory Board of European Professional Women's Network (EPWN). She is a frequent guest speaker at European, American and African Universities and International Congresses as well as a visiting professor at Business Schools such as: IPADE-México, ISE-Brasil, INALDE-Colombia, IDE-Ecuador, PAD-Perú, ESE-Chile, IAE-Argentina, IEEM-Uruguay, Lagos Business School (Nigeria), Strathmore University (Kenya). She was awarded the "Best Manager of the Year" by the Spanish Federation of Executive Women (FEDEPE) and is the only woman in the Spanish list of Top Ten management http://www.toptenms.com/ She is the co-author of several books, such as Owners of our destiny: How to balance professional, family and personal life (Ariel 2007), Being a Family-responsible company: ¿Luxury or need? (Pearson Prentice Hall 2006), Female Ambition: How to Reconcile Work and Family (Palgrave 2005), Decision Criteria in the Selection Processes in Spain. Are women discriminated (Fundación ADECCO 2003) Two professions and one family (Generalitat de Catalunya, Departament de Benestar i Familia 2003), Undertaking in Feminine (1999); The Women and her Success (1995); and Leadership Paradigms (2002). She is also author of the book Directors' Rotation which earned the EADA prize in 1996. Prof. Chinchilla speaks seven languages. She is married and the mother of one daughter.

Meg Jones (Australia), Women in Trade Program Advisor, International Trade Centre
Recognising that the economic empowerment of women contributes to economic growth and human development, Meg heads the ‘Women in Trade' program for the International Trade Centre, part of the UN. As owner/director of an SME, the former Deputy Director of the Evian Group at IMD (a think tank on trade) and with previous experience working for the United Nations both as a representative of her native Australia and as an international civil servant, Meg brings a range of perspectives to the ITC programme. She believes that women will achieve economic empowerment only when we - including participants in W.I.N. - work together to call for changes to legislative, regulatory and administrative frameworks in support of women entrepreneurs, employees and working mothers. Meg’s private sector experience is in the financial market and management consultancy, which was later followed by university appointments. Meg has two children, speaks fluent Japanese and French.

Lyly Rojas (Nicaragua/USA/Europe/Asia), Humanitarian, Professor of Corporate Social Responsibility/Peacemaking, Aphasiologist, Author, Consultant
Professor Dr. Lyly Rojas humanitarian, University Professor, consultant, speaker, writer and W.I.N. board member focuses on the impact of global living. She trains professionals in diverse multi-cultural topics, having worked in war zones with everyone from tortured women to leading Buddhist monks and from diplomats to business executives to UN organizations. Her emphasis in life and work is on healing fragmentation - whether it be personal, professional, national, or global. She teaches ways to unify radically different points of view. Professor Rojas also teaches Corporate Social Responsibility and the Culture of Peace. Co-founder of the Peaceful Heart Project in Zambia and leader of inner adventures in the outdoors, she welcomes meeting you.

Lorella Zanardo (Italy), Entrepreneur. Founder and General Manager, Sportgate
Lorella has held positions in the marketing field for many years, including European Brand Manager for Unilever in Milan and Paris and Marketing Director for Gruppo Mondadori. She has managed community projects in diversity management and organized and chaired innovative courses on themes of change for organizations and individuals. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) as well as a degree in English and German literature. She has been a theatre and cinema actress and a past presenter at the W.I.N. conference. She lives with her 2 children, practices yoga and is currently writing a book on the developing role of women in society and organizations, while managing Sportgate, her company specialising in consultancy services and innovative training, proposed both through the sport practice and through the stories of great Olympic champions. Lorella is also a writer and the director of the documentary “Il Corpo Delle Donne.”

Lisa Kepinski (USA), Director, International Diversity & Inclusion - Microsoft
Lisa brings over 16 years working in diverse, global environments in the technology sector as a senior leader for diversity & inclusion (D&I). She has deep content expertise on many dimensions of diversity & inclusion. In Lisa’s current role as Diversity & Inclusion Director for Microsoft, she is responsible for setting and driving the diversity & inclusion strategy across 11 geographic regions. Lisa also has a background in Learning & Development, Staffing, PR/Communications. She has an MA in Linguistics, with a specialization on gender communication as well as a BS in psychology. Lisa currently lives in Munich, has lived in 4 countries and has two school age daughters.

Linda Love (USA/UK), Head of Learning & Development, Spring Group Plc
Linda heads up the Learning and Development function for the Spring Group Plc, a global recruitment business. She began her career with Arthur Andersen & Co and her prior experience with Fortune 500 companies such as Adecco and Xerox Corporation have helped to build her expertise in numerous areas of HR, with special emphasis on strategic leadership development, talent management, employee engagement and building strong teams. Part of her work that she really loves is the opportunities she has had to work throughout Western and Eastern Europe and in particular the programs she helped to implement last year in China. A native of New York City with a degree in Industrial Psychology, she has also completed the 3-year Adecco Leadership Program at the Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne. Linda moved to Milan, Italy in 1994 and worked as a management development consultant throughout the EU, focusing on working in a multicultural business environment. She then moved to London in 2000 to take on the role of International Training Manager for Izodia Plc. She currently lives in London with her fun loving London born husband. Linda has been involved in women's professional networking for the past 15 years. She is a past President of the Milan Professional Women’s Association and past Board member of the London City Women’s Network. She is very pleased to be a member of the W.I.N. Advisory Board. An inspiring public speaker, she has been a regular presenter at the W.I.N. Conference over the last 11 years.

Kristin Engvig (Norway)- founder and CEO W.I.N. global leadership conference, social entrepreneur - producer
Committed, graceful, courageous and together – this is Kristin Engvig’s vision for the emerging leaders of the world. With a background working as a decision maker in global companies, as an international consultant and as a creative person, Kristin transformed her vision of ‘bringing a more feminine, global and sustainable vision to work, communities and life’ into an annual conference that aims to empower, develop and connect women leaders. From early beginnings in 1994, Kristin’s visionary programs have grown into a global networking and learning event that serves as a reference for women working internationally and organizations active in women’s leadership, diversity and inclusion. Throughout the year, leading her organization, Women’s International Networking (W.I.N.), Kristin hosts international ‘mobilizing women tours’ to learn the needs, issues and challenges facing women worldwide. W.I.N. also holds ‘corporate networking group’ meetings quarterly where professional s meet to discuss topical issues in the corporate world. From the information gathered, Kristin creates an innovative conference program based on her sense of the emerging trends and continually encourages women and men to live creatively, authentically and to shape a sustainable future. Working for JPMorgan, Citibank, Innovation Norway, and as an international strategy and marketing consultant around the world in her early career gave her a solid base to create her women’s leadership organization. She holds an MSc degree in Business Administration and Marketing from BI in Oslo and an MBA from SDA Bocconi, Milan. She has travelled extensively and worked with women from all continents. In 2006 she was a finalist for the European Women of Achievement Award. In her “journey life” and essential to her vision and being, is her passion for community, family, learning, art, creativity, theatre, yoga and Zen. She lives in Europe with her son, Leonardo, who is 8 years old.

Josefine M.C. van Zanten (Switzerland/Netherlands). Vice President, Diversity and Inclusion - Shell International
Josefine van Zanten is the Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion for Royal Dutch Shell. In this role, she is responsible for working with the Businesses and Functions to drive D&I further in to the organizations main processes and systems, enhancing key D&I activities in Talent, Learning and Development and she represents Royal Dutch Shell’s internal and external D&I messaging. She manages a global team of D&I consultants and coordinates a common D&I agenda across the Enterprise. Previous to this role, Josefine was the Europe, Middle East and Africa Diversity and Inclusion director for HP. Josefine has further professional experience in procurement, finance and marketing and has lived in Europe and The US. She speaks fluent French, English, Dutch and German. She holds a BA from Portland State University, Portland, Oregon and an MBA from the University of Geneva, Geneva, Switzerland. She has two grown up children. Her interests include hiking, skiing, and Art.

JoAnne Freeman (Canada/Switzerland), Founder SwimUpstream Professional Influence Training
JoAnne founded SwimUpstream to provide experiential leadership training. Her unique approach blends extensive experience in global corporations, UN agencies, hi-tech start-ups and commercial enterprises. She is recognized for innovative techniques for meeting facilitation and team effectiveness and in particular for personal promotion and influence. Her training incorporates elements of Drama therapy and Transactional Analysis. Three workshops of unique design; SWIM: Leadership for Women, Marketing the Brand Me, and Skilful Meeting Facilitation enjoy high demand across Europe. JoAnne managed rural development programs for CIDA, the UN and small NGOs in Niger, Haiti and Indonesia before coming to Geneva where she was responsible for Management Education at Digital Equipment Corporation. JoAnne is a regular speaker at women’s professional networks and conferences and she is an associate of DIAFORA, gender training and coaching and a proud member of the W.I.N Advisory Board. She has co-founded TEN the Trainer’s Exchange Network in Geneva.

Helene Ratte (France), Consultant, 20-first
Hélène Ratte is a French based consultant. She brings her international experience and background in Human Resources and global management. Before joining 20-first, she was a Partner of Deloitte, with experience in Human Resources management at the local, regional and global level – and extended contributions in career development, partnership management, and mobility. Her latest interest and global assignment was to develop a culture change to improve the advancement and retention of women. Before joining Deloitte, Hélène served as HR and finance Director for McKinsey in France and as deputy to the HR Management leader of L’Oréal. French by birth, international in mindset, she is fluent in English, has worked with different cultures and countries. Early supporter of PPWN, she is member of the EPWN network and W.I.N. International Advisory Board. She has an MBA from INSEAD, a BA in Economics Science from the Lille University and is a graduate of EDHEC.

Gunnel Berggren, Independent consultant
Gunnel has been with IMD - International Institute of Management Development - in Lausanne since 1993. She created the Client Services - marketing back office structure at IMD, since then copied at all leading Business Schools with a key account management and client organization instead of product organization. In 2001 she resigned and adopted a 1 month old Bengali girl named Maya and lived in Calcutta for 7 months. In 2003 the family moved to London UK until she and her husband went separate ways and IMD asked Gunnel to come back in 2006. The past 2 years at IMD she first managed a strategic initiative creating a CRM system for the 60 Leadership Development coaches, and then the past year was Business Development Director for IMD's Nordic market. In December 2008 Gunnel left IMD to be an independent consultant and have more time for Maya, now 7. They both enjoy skiing and spend the winter weekends in Verbier. Gunnel was born and raised in Sweden, but has not lived there since 1989. She has an MSc in Business Administration from the University of Lund, Sweden, with internships at two prestigious French Business Schools. Gunnel sits on the Advisory Council of W.I.N as of September 2008.

Gry Tina Tinde (Norway), Diversity Advisor, Inter-American Development Bank
Tina joined the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, D.C. in May 2009 as diversity advisor in human resources. She is developing a diversity strategy for the organization and planning a women's conference for mid-November 09. From 2004-09 Tina was gender advisor to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Geneva where she set up a fundraising program for refugees: Women Leading for Livelihoods. Earlier Tina worked for the Council of the Baltic Sea States in Stockholm, the Ministry of Defence and Norwegian Institute of International Affairs in Oslo and with the UN and UNHCR in New York, Ex-Yugoslavia and Cambodia. Tina is working on her first novel about a young woman’s struggles in a UN peacekeeping operation. She recently published her study on top UN peacebuilders’ lack of inclusion of women in peace-building activities in Refugee Survey Quarterly. Tina has a master's degree in anthropology and journalism from the University of Montana, USA, a Diploma in Advanced European Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium and a BA in political science, French and German from the University of Oslo, Norway. Tina speaks four of the six UN official languages plus Norwegian and German. She works with fervour to support women’s careers and believes women would be equally represented with men at top levels, be it in the private or public sector, if competencies were all that mattered in the selection.

Graziella Zanoletti (Italy/Switzerland), CIO Chief Inspiring Officer and Founder, Elite Rent-a-Car
Graziella is a successful entrepreneur with human values. 15 years ago she started up her company providing luxury car hire and chauffeur services. Today it has branches in Zurich, Cannes, Nice, St Tropez, Paris, Monaco, Milano, Roma, Sao Paulo and Moscow and has a turnover of almost €10 million. She says: “I am convinced that positive attitudes can change the world. I believe in women of the past and women of the future. Our mothers were there to protect our homes. We are here today to prepare our daughters who will change the world”.

Elisabeth Trallero (Spain), CEO & President, Smiling S.A.
Elisabeth graduated with an MBA from ESADE Business School in Barcelona and is now finishing her PhD on “Diversity on Boards of Directors of European multinational companies in Europe”. She is accustomed to travel and being successful in global business as she speaks seven European languages fluently. After ten years of working in marketing departments of multinational companies like CLOROX, CINZANO and PRACSA, she decided to join the family owned group of businesses CONGOST PLASTIC, SMILING, CONCORAL, ECOAROME,… She is happily married and is the mother of three small boys of 15, 10 and 7 years old. She also dedicates part of her little free time to being an MBA Professor in different prestigious Business Schools and to defending Professional Women for the “Equal Job, Equal Pay”, in some Professional Women Associations such as AFAEMME, EWMD, and ACEE.

Elin Hurvenes (Norway), Founder, Professional Boards Forum
Elin Hurvenes is a London Business School MBA and has a BA from Oxford Brooks University. She worked in London for consultants Colin Buchanan & Partners before returning to her native Norway in 1995 and working as a business development & innovation consultant. She founded the Professional Boards Forum in 2003 in response to the proposal by the Norwegian Government to legislate the number of female directors on company boards to 40 %. The Professional Boards Forum bring together company owners and experienced business women and has been a tremendous success. She also provides a recruiting service for boardroom positions and recently placed female directors on the boards of the stock exchange winner, Eitzen Maritime Services, energy company Fjordkraft and the Canadian shipyard Davie Yards.

Denise Andrews (USA), COO and Managing Partner, Legacy Unlimited
Denise is COO and Managing Partner of Legacy Unlimited, a global consulting company specializing in leadership development, diversity, and inclusion. She has an undying passion to make the world a better place. Previously, Ms. Andrews served as a respected leader of change for business, globalization and diversity within the Procter & Gamble Company. Ms. Andrews has 27 years of business leadership in Manufacturing, Human Resources and Business Management. She also served as a key designer and Global Leader for Procter & Gamble’s premier leadership development and diversity initiative. Through this initiative over 8000 people, from more than 103 countries, were exposed to the concepts of embracing the rich diversity of our world. This, also, led to individuals becoming more effective leaders and family members. Ms. Andrews is an experienced strategist, master trainer, executive advisor and designer of high performance leadership. Ms. Andrews’ principles that guide her life are; to whom much is given much is required, boldly walk under God’s anointing, choose to be a good local and global citizen, leave a legacy from which all families benefit and free to dance in every country. Ms. Andrews has a partner of 24 years and a rich extended family. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and a Masters in Business Administration from Xavier University (Ohio).

Danica Purg, President, IEDC-Bled School of Management
Professor Danica Purg is the founding and current President of the IEDC-Bled School of Management, Slovenia, and the founding President of the Central and East European Management Development Association (CEEMAN), which has 170 members from 42 countries and whose aim is to enhance management development in Central and Eastern Europe. She is also chairperson and director of the European Leadership Centre (ELC), established with the aim of assessing and promoting European leadership through the organization of forums, workshops and research. Dr Purg is a professor of leadership and effective management at the IEDC-Bled School of Management. Her special field of interest is looking for inspirations for managers from art and other professions. She has authored and co-authored several books and numerous articles on technological and organizational change, comparative HRM practices, team building, economic reforms and management development in Central and Eastern Europe (published in Slovenia, the Netherlands, Germany, Japan, Russia, the UK, and the US). In 2003 Dr Purg edited and co-authored the book Leaders and Teams – The Winning Partnership. Dr Purg is a Fellow of the International Academy of Management, Doctor Honoris Causa at Moscow State University of Management and Estonian Business School and honorary professor at Moscow International Higher Business School (MIRBIS). The President of the Republic of Slovenia awarded her with the “Honorary Order of Freedom” for her contribution to management development in Slovenia and CEE. Prof Purg is also a member of several advisory boards, among them the Advisory Board of Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society, the Advisory Board of BAWB (Business as an Agent of World Benefit Global Forum) and the Advisory Board of the newly established Moscow School of Management. Dr Purg is also a Member of the exclusive European Cultural Parliament (ECP) - a forum for outstanding artists, thinkers, and other cultural personalities from all Europe. Recently she was invited to become a member of the UN Global Compact Taskforce to develop the principles for Responsible Business Education and in 2007 she became President of UN Global Compact Slovenia. After graduating from the Faculty of Political Science in Ljubljana, she completed her PhD at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade and studied extensively at Harvard Business School, IMD Lausanne, INSEAD, Technological University Delft, London University, Sorbonne, and at Kalamazoo College, US.

Charleen Michel (Switzerland), International Human Resources Consultant
Charleen has more than 20 years of experience in the corporate business world, working for a global chemical company, based in Zurich, Switzerland. As a business focused global Human Resources director, she is recognized for her ability to build effective relationships and make strategic contributions that facilitate change across global boundaries using personal credibility and a hands-on, results oriented approach. She has broad, in-depth HR knowledge and a proven track record in individual, organizational and leadership development, talent management, learning, performance management and diversity to enable organizations align their people strategy with their business priorities. She has been an active leader of the company's European women's network strategy board, providing counsel to senior management and individuals on issues that affect women's careers in a business environment. She holds a PhD in Polymer Science and is fluent in English, German and Swiss German and is learning Italian. Her interests include gardening, interior decorating, golf, photography, hiking and skiing.

Carolyn J. Lutz (Switzerland), Partner, Lutz & Partners International Executive Search
For the past 14 years Carolyn has been active in pan-European executive search. She is a former Managing Partner of Heidrick & Struggles Geneva and now has her own (all-female!) executive search firm, Lutz & Partners Sarl, with offices in Zurich & Geneva. Carolyn Lutz studied Psychology at Vassar, and received an MBA from Wharton. Carolyn was a Captain in the US Marines; a superb learning experience. Post-MBA, Carolyn joined P&G in Geneva in marketing; working on the Swiss market and later managing Pringles Asia, based in Geneva. Swiss by birth, Carolyn speaks Swiss-German, French and English and is learning Italian. One of the biggest areas of satisfaction in Carolyn’s life is achieving balance between professional success and a fulfilling personal life. On the personal side, Carolyn is married with two children. Carolyn believes in staying fit; working out at least five times a week, (swimming, running or skiing), eating & drinking well, and having fun with friends & family.

Caroline Houdent (France), Resource Management Leader, IBM Europe
Caroline joined IBM in 1989 after graduating from EDHEC, a French business school. Starting in the PC Division, she spent seven years in a number of different sales and marketing jobs, followed by six years as a client manager in the Financial Services Sector. After all those years in sales, and because of IBM strategy and growth in services and strategic outsourcing, she wished to understand Strategic Outsourcing Service Delivery from the inside. She had several management positions in this division from first line people management to third line pan-European responsibilities. In 2006 she was appointed as Manager, Workforce Diversity for Europe, Middle East Africa. Her experience in various business units and roles in IBM and her passion for people were seen as the key to succeed with her team in driving the diversity programs that support IBM Corporation’s goals and values. Since the end of 2007, Caroline re-joined IT Delivery to lead Resource Management across the Global Delivery Centres located all over the world. In this role, she is responsible for the hiring, skills strategy and education of the over 10,000 employees in those service centres, as well as making sure the skills are available and in line with IBM’s outsourcing European customers' needs. Outside IBM, Caroline is a mother to twin 16 year old boys. In her leisure time, she enjoys skiing and going to the movies. She likes to keep up with the latest news from the medical world, in magazine articles, TV programs and so on. And, as you might expect from someone from the country that gave the world "haute cuisine", Caroline enjoys gastronomy!

Anne Stevens (UK), Vice President HR, Copper and Diamonds, Rio Tinto
Anne’s career has been broad, varied and unique. Previously a European Director at IBM and Global Head of HR at CMC Markets in The City, Anne is now Vice President HR, Copper and Diamonds within Rio Tinto. Through an unusual combination of Business Management, Human Resources and Consulting in an international context, she brings extensive experience of driving unique people strategies in successful organizations. Anne is passionate about achieving true business results and competitive edge through good people. She is a leading light in the area of diversity and life balance and very active in many international networks. She is particularly renowned for her innovative and practical approach to the development and advancement of women both in and out of the work place. As an international business woman and a mother of two, Anne will encourage us to think courageously about how we introduce flexibility into international and global HR strategies. She will share her current challenges, her ambitions and her plans as she embarks on a new phase in her inspiring career and working life.

Ania Jakubowski (Canada/Poland/Switzerland), Associate Director P&G Customer Business Development
Ania resides in Geneva, Switzerland working as an Associate Director (Brand Manager), in Marketing for Procter & Gamble (P&G). She has enjoyed a 16 year international career with P&G spanning North America, Eastern, Central and Western Europe. Her career path has included operational sales and market development roles, strategy and capability building roles and most recently brand management in Marketing. In addition to her business responsibilities she is active in the corporate mentoring programs and European diversity efforts. Ania was born and raised in Canada. She graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada with a Bachelor of Business Administration. She is a dual passport holder, with her native roots stemming from Poland. She has lived abroad a great deal of her life, including having spent her formative years in India, having studied Russian at Moscow State University and taught English in the Czech Republic. Ania is active in the community and a leader in supporting the advancement of women in business. She has held the post of President of the Geneva chapter (www.gwit.ch) of the Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT - www.owit.org) since 2005, has been an OWIT Board member since 2005 and is currently the Executive Vice President of OWIT International. She also reaches out to mentor students entering the work force through her links to Universities. Travel is a source of great inspiration and energy, in particular when she and her camera equipment get on safari.
