Agenda - Courage to be the Change

W.I.N. 2006, “Courage to be the change…..” is the 9th in a series of visionary global leadership forums developing, empowering and connecting leaders worldwide. The forum encourages women to be the change through authentic action - alongside with men. W.I.N. believes that for change to be lasting it has to happen in a new paradigm where feminine values such as compassion, win-win approaches to negotiation, empathy, intuition, authenticity, integrity, caring and sharing plays a significant role. It is time to elevate leadership to whole new level and we invite you to join.

14:15 Plenary Session: Being Change Agents- Career
Time and talent are precious resources. Women now have the opportunity to become highly educated and are gaining valuable professional and personal experience at home and abroad. Women can have it all; a job, a family and time for personal growth. Yet, who doesn’t feel the pressure of expectations from others (and self) about being successful, setting priorities, and doing it all? How can you find the formula that is right for you?

In many countries and organizations it is seemingly no longer impossible to climb the corporate ladder nor become an entrepreneur. The question is how do we want work and life to be: would more of us step up to power, and feel great about it, if power, work environments and leadership were more inclusive, purposeful, caring, compassionate and passionate? We suggest it is time we move into a higher gear as we look at how the new authentic and feminine leaders consider power. What do we need to take on board positions, become an intra- or entrepreneur, and how do we create the environment that makes people grow.

Successful people who have made startling choices, influential leaders and outstanding professionals illuminate new options, strategies and real life practices.

    16:00 Networking Break

09:00 Plenary Session: Experts Explore Creativity, Communication and Authenticity
How can we give and receive, become fully satisfied, and inspire others? As we ask ourselves who we are, how we do things, and how we approach the world, communication becomes key. How can we learn to better communicate across borders, gender barriers and personalities to achieve best results in our personal and professional lives? Will it be possible to find a universal, conscious and peaceful way of communicating? How can we tap into our creativity and bring innovative solutions to the surface? As we learn more about that which makes us unique, how can we use this to source and suffuse our power?
