Theme and Topic
The W.I.N. 2009 theme is: Wisdom in action: transforming people, organizations, and society.
We are living in times where opening up to new opportunities are vital. New ways of being and leading in the world are required. As we open ourselves to new solutions, women and the feminine have a vital role to play and each of us embodies the power to influence, to attract, to decide and to lead.
W.I.N.’s objective; evoking change to authenticity and raising feminine and global awareness to create a sustainable future, includes: inspiring success based individuality, cultivating authentic leadership and encouraging feminine ways of doing business and of being. It promotes sensitivity and courage; transforming knowledge into wisdom; pursuing goals while consciously letting life unfold. It means developing sensibilities, listening within as well as considering the surroundings, caring for others, for future generations, for the planet and for ourselves. It requires the sharing of knowledge, experiences, results, truth, power and discoveries. It requires fearlessly standing for and defending what we commit to.
3. Examples of topics
On a practical level, here are some suggested topics. However, do not feel limited. W.I.N. embraces a rich and varied mix of topics.
We aim to look at how we can improve communication, use our intuition and our femininity to become authentic, global leaders. How can we learn skills and gain the confidence to allow ourselves to become a board member or join an executive committee,. How to have a career in a corporation and make a difference, accelerate our career,, work globally, start a business.
Typical workshop topics include: Organizational creativity, cross cultural leadership, recruiting for corporate boards, being an efficient board member, making diversity work, ethical leadership, creative leadership, branding, public speaking, efficient communication, making an impact, women and men of the organization, systems thinking for teams and retaining talent, creativity and innovation, marketing through the web, women and technology.
As an entrepreneur, how to find capital, how to protect my brand? How to sell and how to build a brand? How to run a global team and how to become inclusive? How to negotiate and get a better deal? How to do good and doing well? How to tap into my wisdom? How to deal with change? How to change challenges into opportunity? How to stay employable? What about technology, how to help me be more efficient? What’s my talent, what’s my purpose – don’t waste time? What about mastering money and improve finances?
Managing career transitions, action planning for change, mastering transitions, understanding non-verbal communication, conscious communication, change management, from career to calling, integrating spirituality into work, making your voice heard, living your passion and creating your mission, negotiation skills, work with purpose, applying values in decision making.
All the above are typical topics of a great W.I.N. workshop.
Women at W.I.N. are keen to grow, to learn, to accelerate careers, start businesses, give and be strong. W.I.N. asked how do we do all of this; how to open ourselves to new solutions, how to bring the wisdom into action?

Conversely, coaches are given exposure and a chance to reach out to a wide potential client base. Interested coaches should send their resumes, including coaching qualifications, experience, area of expertise and coaching organizations that they are affiliated with.
