Women’s International Networking 2006 Year End Newsletter

Dear W.I.N. community and friends
As 2006 reaches its close, we would like to thank all of you for a wonderful year, for bridging many gaps and progressing constantly. We also want to address a particular thought and thank all our collaborators around the world.
The Rome conference was unique, and all the connections and projects that emerged are blossoming in various places of the world. We are thankful to all the women who helped and worked hard to make their companies sponsor, to suggest speakers, to invite a colleague or a friend and propose ideas and projects. Every year our W.I.N. team is developing a tremendous amount of energy because of the enthusiasm and deep commitment of so many of you.
We strongly believe in the world's need for a caring and sharing leadership and personal behaviour. Our 2006 theme Courage to be the change emphasized the confidence and the power to make the authentic and feminine way an integral part of any walk of life.
At our W.I.N. team's weekly meetings we always enclose a short reading part for inspiration and reflection. Lately, these have been chosen from Paolo Coelho’s book “Manual of the Warrior of Light”. We at W.I.N very much like the idea of being warriors – not any kind of warriors, no – enlightened warriors, fighters, defenders, pioneers and leaders in the authentic way of being. For our purpose, we make Coelho's warrior a female….
In this warrior spirit we look forward to 2007, a very special year, a celebration year: our 10th anniversary which we'll make bright and memorable.
In the meantime we'd like to offer you the below philosophical thought as an inspiring message to become a great and strong Warrior of Light in 2007.
Wishing you love and courage.
Kristin

The Warrior of light is a believer
Because she believes in miracles, miracles begin to happen. Because she is sure that her thoughts can change her life, her life begins to change. Because she is certain that she will find love, that love appears.
Now and then, she is disappointed. Sometimes, she gets hurt. Then she hears people say: "She's so ingenuous!"
But the warrior knows that it is worth it. For every defeat, she has two victories in her favour.
All believers know this.
