About Workshop: How you and your company can use mentoring and sponsorships to achieve success
W.I.N. believes people have a greater chance of succeeding both as a company in a competitive marketplace and for you as an individual person if they build effective and meaningful relationships with others who have knowledge, experience, perspectives and influence to support them in achieving personal success. Through these relationships, individuals can clarify personal career plans, evaluate options, provide/receive tangible advice on specific issues, and define plans to achieve their personal goals and objectives.
Companies keen to develop their women leaders and women who wish to further develop their leadership skills and advance in today’s global environment have a number of options. During this workshop we will mention several options and explore in depth mentoring and sponsorships. In particular, we will use Mentoring Circles to identify 3-5 recommendations to address the following areas:
- How can formalizing relationships in our personal, social and/professional networks and connections help us to create an innovative approach as we create effective partnerships with others? What is the role of the company and individuals in doing so?
- How can Mentors AND Sponsors assist you to be successful and to achieve your career aspirations? What are the benefits for both companies and individuals?
