How to Contribute

Scholarships for Global WINConference and Regional WINConferences

WIN offers free or subsidized conference participation to women who demonstrate the potential to become the leaders of tomorrow and/or are proven leaders operating in a challenging economic environment. Each donation, no matter how small, makes a huge difference. All money donated to the fund is used to provide scholarships unless otherwise specified and there is no minimum donation.

Sister to Sister Scholarship

Our sister to sister scholarship scheme allows you to donate a full scholarship to bring one outstanding woman from outside Europe to the Global WINConference. A donation of €3,000 covers travel, visa administration, accommodation, and the conference registration fee. By supporting this initiative you will make a huge difference to one person’s professional and personal life. If you wish, WIN can bring the two of you together during the conference to establish a lasting connection. WIN reserves the right to appoint the scholarship recipient.

Special Projects

WIN has supported past scholarship winners who have initiated projects in their local communities. These have included; a school project in Sierra Leone, conferences and events to empower women in Cameroon, schoolgirls in India and an entire community in Maison Shalom, Burundi.

Scholarship Testimonials
"The WIN conference has been a wonderful learning experience for me.  It is great to know that a lot of passionate women are on the way to make a difference in the world, a better world. At the personal level, it helped me to grow as a woman and as a woman educator."

WIN Fund - Empowering Women Worldwide

WIN’s Women Development Fund and Initiative provides scholarships, training sessions and supports specific projects we feel can really help improve lives. We are conscious of our global responsibility and interconnectedness, and we know we are stronger when we join together. To be really global, we share. Since its inception, WIN’s philosophy has been to donate 3-5% of our income each year to women’s causes. In addition, a few individuals and companies have contributed to the fund. WIN also provides an employee to handle visa applications and administration linked to international travel for scholarship winners. Despite our small size we have awarded more than 1000 scholarships and supported numerous initiatives. We would like to give you the opportunity to make a difference by making a contribution.

2018 Projects

WIN Girls, India (continuation of support)

The WIN Girls Project awards scholarships to deserving students to allow them to benefit from higher education for a minimum period of 3 years. During this period, girls are provided with college fees and small stipend each month for books and study materials. Each scholarship holder undertakes to reach out to at least 10 other girls every year and encourage them to understand the benefits of study, not getting married too young, and helping others in society. A donation of just €350 to the WIN Fund will enable one Indian girl to receive higher education.

Ladies Circle, Cameroon (continuation of support)

Since 2008, in partnership with Anne Pelagie Yotchou Tzudjom from Ladies Circle, we have been sponsoring the organisation of the WIN Conference Forum Cameroon - a platform that brings together around 100 women and men of all generations for three days of learning, fun, sharing of experiences, good practices and networking for the advancement of women and their social and economic development. The main goal has been to develop the potential of women and young women, without any discrimination in social status, so that they can become the main actors of their own development and help develop their families, their communities and their organisations.

Daughters of Kenya, Kenya

A non-profit organization working towards improving and changing the lives of vulnerable girls and young mothers in Kenya. Working to ensuring that every orphaned and vulnerable girl should experience the love and security that only a family can provide. Their mission focuses on education, ending violence against children, and economic sustainability.
