WIN invites organisations and individuals to look at how to prepare for the future, accelerate their journeys,

enrich their skills, boost their confidence and grow as integrated feminine, authentic and global leaders.

Which are the strategies, programs and initiatives that can be used to create this conscious culture? How can we do our part in creating the company of the future, assuring enough women in STEM and in the boardroom too?

This is a time for you to re-evaluate your career and prepare to lead the way where you are most needed. Choose 1 of 3 interactive sessions to attend. 

1. The 10 Leadership Skills Predicted for an Uncertain World

This session will introduce the leadership skills required to thrive in the future and enable leaders to engage and motivate their people in this turbulent and uncertain world. Key outputs from the session will include: understanding of VUCA and how to respond positively to it, knowledge of the leadership skills that will help with future personal success, and a couple of practical tools and techniques to consider in your own leadership development.

2. Transforming the Future for Women and Girls in STEM

An interactive session to explore what is happening to encourage more women and girls in the STEM arena. Hear directly from WISE and BASF on what is working so far and where the gaps are. This session is an opportunity to discuss and share your experience and raise any questions.

In this time of rapid technological advancements, creating sustainable and innovative business cultures has never been more important. We will look at topics ranging from sustainability, embracing diversity, advancing women in leadership and creating cultures of inclusion.

14.00         Plenary: Inspiring Leaders Doing It Differently

We will address career development and work transitions – how to start your business and how to navigate the workplace in an ever-changing environment in a conscious and confident, authentic way. Exceptional and aware women will share their stories of courage, leadership, perseverance and the value of staying connected as they describe how they moved ahead and paved the way for others as well. Ultimately, we will discuss the importance of being authentic while integrating the feminine dimension to becoming a global player. What are their visions for the future? How will they go about getting there with the highest of consciousness?

How we can realize our own full potential as we contribute to evolving our work and world into places that benefit everyone? How do we find clarity, enthusiasm, commitment and care, while giving and receiving support along the way? We explore the power in being connected to others, yourself and what’s beyond as we find space to envision a future where we all thrive.

We will mobilize the resources in the group and learn the importance of mentoring. Let’s share and learn how to better connect and mobilize ideas and resources in a way that accelerates careers, projects and society. Let’s become clear about some of our ideal dreams for the world, work and selves. We will also look at how we can learn to operate with grace across the globe.

2018 WIN Manchester

Last year's WIN Manchester event took place on 7 June 2018 at UKFast and celebrated the marking of 100 years of suffrage for some women in the UK with the theme Realising Your Power and Leading Change - Differently.
