Vision close to being a reality
Aradhana Khowala

How time flies! 8 months have already passed since the last W.I.N. Conference and we are so close to W.I.N. 2005. We at W.I.N. believe that 8 is a special number. It signifies strength and steadiness of purpose. In keeping with the symbolic relevance of the number we are geared for the upcoming 8th in the series of W.I.N. conferences to be held from October 6th to the 8th, at Hotel Crowne Plaza, Geneva.

Our dedicated cadres of members, team, corporations, organizations, and the other partnering networks have generously supported our efforts, and are preparing to make 2005 another banner year for W.I.N.

As we look forward to “Leading for the Future” with a lot of expectations, a little apprehension and enormous enthusiasm, I feel energized to get started. We have been working very hard over the past few months to bring the W.I.N. Global Leadership Forum to you in all its spectacular glory.

The mystic power of number “8” urged us to go ahead and get ambitious and we are targeting 800 women from about 80 countries to attend the conference this year. From a conference which started in Milan with an objective of aiding professional women working in an international environment, W.I.N has come a long way to being the leading organizer of leadership conference for women in Europe. The transition has not been easy and we still remain committed to developing, empowering and connecting women leaders who will drive change and build a safer and better tomorrow.

This edition of the quarterly newsletter is a humble attempt at bringing together few amazing people, their stories, some events and news which kept us ticking the past few months. All of us at W.I.N continue to be profoundly grateful and deeply appreciative of the tremendous support that we have received from each one of you to carry out our vision and mission.

I wish you a pleasant read.

Love and courage
