1. Speaker Types
Over 100 hundred speakers participate in the annual W.I.N. Conference each year. Speakers are divided into the following groups –
- Plenary speakers,
- Workshop leaders,
- Forum speakers (panellists),
- Coaches and
- Morning Awakening Sessions.
Plenary Speakers
In the plenary, speakers address all 800 or more conference participants. There are 5 plenary sessions where each speaker has 12 - 17 minutes in which to deliver an outstanding, world class speech.
Workshop Speakers
At W.I.N., we are passionate about giving our participants a variety of diverse workshop topics to choose from. This allows us to offer many speakers the possibility to contribute. By this, we hope to exceed participant expectations and needs while taking them on interactive paths allowing them to discover skills and knowledge they never knew they needed. We offer 40 workshop slots of 1½ hour each from Wednesday to Friday. In addition to this, on Saturday (post conference) we offer 5 workshop slots of 2 hours each.
Forum Speakers
W.I.N. organizes working groups to look at specific topics such as: senior women leaders, women and media, corporate forum on diversity and inclusion, women on boards, entrepreneurship forum, women empowering women and others. If you have a story to tell, apply to be a panellist (typically a 10 minute presentation and then facilitated discussion).
Coaches
Coaching sessions are held simultaneously with plenary sessions and run for 40 – 45 minutes. W.I.N. offers coaching labs during the conference that allow you, the coach, an opportunity to hold 3-4 sessions with participants. These complimentary one-on-one sessions are designed to give participants an opportunity to explore the benefits of coaching in an open and unsolicited environment. Conversely, coaches are given exposure and a chance to reach out to a wide potential client base. Interested coaches should send their resumes (cv), including coaching qualifications, experience, area of expertise and coaching organisations with whom you are affiliated to. Same conditions and deadlines apply as detailed below.

4. Examples of topics
About the W.I.N. Participant – The W.I.N. participant wants to grow, learn, accelerate their careers and start businesses in a feminine and authentic way. W.I.N. asks how do we do this, how do we open ourselves to new solutions, how do we bring the wisdom into action?
W.I.N. embraces a rich and varied mix of topics starting with the afore-mentioned themes. However, it is very important that there is a conscious focus on the feminine. Although, we make some suggestions below, we encourage you to be creative and not limited by our suggestions.
Workshop topics typically encompass - organisational creativity, cross-cultural leadership, being an efficient board member, making diversity work, ethical leadership, creative leadership, feminine leadership, how to create, improve and maintain your personal brand, public speaking, efficient communication, making an impact, how to move from a team player to a team leader, retaining talent, how to become indispensible at work, promoting creativity and innovation, marketing through the web, women and technology. Managing career transitions, action planning for change, mastering transitions, understanding non-verbal communication, conscious communication, change management, from career to calling, integrating spirituality into work, making your voice heard, living your passion and creating your mission, negotiation skills, working with purpose and applying values in decision making.
Entrepreneurs want hands-on learning so that they may - find capital, protect my brand, sell and build a brand, run a global team while being inclusive, negotiate and get a better deal, tap into my wisdom, deal with change, how to see the opportunity in the adversity, technology and my business, how to protect myself from procrastination, my talents and purposes transferred into my business and mastering my financial managements and debt proofing myself.
5. Practical information to apply today
W.I.N. showcases between 120 and 150 speakers, workshop leaders and coaches each year. This is strategically done to ensure that many women’s voices are heard. Speakers are not paid for the opportunity to present, as their sheer numbers would not allow the event to run sustainably. Although in many ways speakers donate their time to W.I.N, each speaker receives in return a wealth of visibility and profiling, an introduction into the W.I.N. speaker network community and professional contacts that can help you spread your impact and grow your business worldwide.
With so many women taking an active role, we can offer the following discount to speakers -
- A more than 50% discounted registration fee of 795 Euros for their conference participation. In addition to this, each speaker will be able to participate throughout the entire conference event which includes 2 lunches and 2 dinners and the opportunity for W.I.N. to sell any of your books at our Conference Book Shop.
- All speakers will be profiled with a photo and mini-bio in the conference book and on the W.I.N. website.
