The Women’s Fund
Through our development activities we mobilize and empower women worldwide. W.I.N. offers training sessions, workshops, and other events throughout the year. The development initiatives mentioned below are aimed at women from economically challenged situations.
Approximately 3-5 % of the income generated at the W.I.N. conference since 1998 has been allocated to the W.I.N. Women’s Fund. As W.I.N. is itself a small mission driven organization not run for profit, endowments to the fund by organizations and individuals are highly encouraged.
Giving is recognized and applauded and can be done easily.
a) Participation at the annual global leadership conference
The fund offers free or subsidized conference participation to women who exemplify the potential to become leaders of tomorrow and proven leaders operating in harsh economic environments. Applicants to this highly competitive program are selected on economic need and their potential to effect change and inspire in their home countries.
b) The global trainee program
The global trainee program offers women a chance to work at W.I.N.’s European headquarters in Switzerland. It offers women from developing countries a valuable experience in a busy and demanding office environment. The experience and skills they develop brings real value to their home country as well as to the organization.
