Beauty Won at WINConference

Beauty Won at the WINConference

Dear Global WINConference Participants,

As I watched participants depart the conference with open faces and a new vision and sparkle in their eyes, I couldn’t help thinking of Nancy Adler’s comment in her Friday morning speech ‘Let beauty be the protest to the ugliness of this world’. It was certainly a beautiful experience spending time with 950 outstanding women and men over the past few days in Rome and we proved that in an extremely short time we can create an inclusive environment for each other, an environment in which so many of you really blossomed. I want to thank you for having been part of such a transformative WINConference experience in Rome.

As you return back to your daily routine, you may find yourself wondering what it was you experienced, whether it was real, and how you can articulate it to those around you.

During three days you were exposed to a wealth of ideas, people and above all humanity; a sense that all our stories count, that you count and that we can move forward as full human beings, fast, clearly and with support from around the world. Everything feels possible and in fact, I think the right question to ask on this Monday morning is exactly that, ‘now when everything is possible, what would I like to do?’.

As we collectively transformed, you changed and you opened up. There wasn’t a single person who left the conference untouched by the incredible risk that so many of you took by sharing from your heart. Each and every person's contribution matters at W.I.N. and you did it. Everything is interconnected and the W.I.N. rules of being open, quick to contribute, ready to communicate, take risk, never accept the unacceptable, commit and expect magic are not only rules to follow during the conference, but for your everyday life. Please go out into the world sharing a feminine, authentic and global vision as you work; make a difference - small or big - everywhere you are.

Because what you experienced at W.I.N. and what you felt was real. You are beautiful, rich, experienced, filled with knowlege, skills, intuition and the trust needed to move forward creating history and supporting others in creating history too.

You can plan projects, but you be open and listen, you can catch a need and transform it into a project when life presents one for you. The sense of possibility is yours, don’t hesitate... and now pass it on to others.

We will get back to you with practical details from the event in the weeks to come.

Our office will be closed from 11-14 October.

My team and I wish you a wonderful week.

With love and courage,
