W.I.N. 2010 Agenda

W.I.N. 2010, Realizing Visions: with Clarity, Enthusiasm and Care

W.I.N. 2010 is the 13th in a series of visionary global conferences, representing a leadership journey for modern women. The conference encourages women to find their feminine power and to be the change through authentic action - alongside men. W.I.N. believes that for transformation to be lasting, it has to happen in an entirely new paradigm, whereby feminine values such as receptivity, compassion, win-win approaches to negotiation, empathy, intuition, authenticity, integrity, sensuality, caring and sharing play a significant role. It is time to commit our leadership to creating a future that benefits all. In this moment the call is for you to play a role in evolving the economic and social situation worldwide. W.I.N. 2010 offers you a platform from which to start.

Just as the world is complex, simple solutions by leaders who care, share and create positive results are showing us a way forward. As we prepare to lead others and ourselves into the future with a feminine, authentic and global vision, let’s set the stage for Realizing Visions: with clarity, enthusiasm and care.

DAY 2 - The future of work

On the second day of the conference we will explore the winning organizations and enterprises of the future and ask who will be the individuals who create and lead them and how. It is becoming old news that women as a group represent important decision makers, consumers or entire markets and yet we should wish the marketers listened more deeply. We also know what a talent pool the increasingly educated, skilled and resourceful group of women represents to operations, management and boards, and yet it moves slower than we had thought. Are we on the right track after all? The time has never been more right to become serious about allowing new visions to come to the surface and to consciously act towards their realization, both as aware leaders of companies and as individuals approaching the way we work.

We focus on what organizations are doing to learn, to innovate, to develop globally, to create inclusive cultures, consider the environment and to attract and retain the very best. We also ask what it means to lead with integrity and strong values, to be conscious and to communicate in an authentic way to the market, and with suppliers, employees and colleagues.

A new renaissance is emerging for women; we have plenty of opportunities and choices and with that comes responsibility. Women can “have it all”, yet who doesn’t feel the pressure of expectations from others and self? As we ask to be hired, get a promotion, receive another pay raise, be part of the executive committee and to join the board, we wonder why it can sometimes seem such a struggle. As we desire to become part of a world we could belong to, one in which our talent, our beauty would be irresistible, one in which we breath fresh air and know that our sisters on some other continent don’t need to go to sleep hungry or scared tonight, we are asked with urgency, to envision the new structures, systems and ways. How would we ideally like work and life to be if we could have it exactly as we wanted? How can we gracefully make our own journey, listening within while navigating outside? How can we transform obstacles and find the inspiration to handle the risks as we work to get from where we are to where we one day hope to be? And what about men in all of this and how can we best work together?

DAY 3 - Growing as individuals

On the third day of the conference we will explore how each and every one of us personally can realize our vision, preparing, recognizing and allowing the journey along the way. We will address how we find clarity, what is guiding our enthusiasm to mobilize others and what makes a project so dear to us that we deeply commit and care to sustain it over a long period of time? Or perhaps, precisely because we care, we mobilize and move our projects into fruition. Most successful projects, companies and people are guided by vision and yet, vision alone is not enough. So, as we search for clarity, we will explore how to lead with values, live our purpose, reclaim our feminine and move towards fulfilling our entire destiny. How do we manage the creative tension between our current situation and where we wish to be? How do we find power, deal with risk, with stress and with multiple demands along the way? We will address how to mobilize the abundance of talent, beauty, ideas and resources that we collectively bring and how to also contribute to the success of others.

The question of environment will be looked at as we examine what is your most fertile ground for your projects to succeed. What is our responsibility as we listen more closely and communicate across borders, gender barriers and personalities to achieve the best results?
