Dr. Nuria Chinchilla

 

Dr. Nuria Chinchilla is Professor in Managing people in organizations (IESE Business School) and Director of the International Center for Work and Family. President and Founder of the company NCH & Partners. Economist and Lawyer, she holds a PhD on Management. She is a business and government consultant and member of several Advisory Boards such as VIP Advisory Board of European Professional Women’s Network (EPWN).She is a frequent guest speaker at European, American and African Universities and International Congresses as well as visiting professor at Business Schools.Co-author of several books, such as "No matter where you are: balancing work and family", “Owners of our destiny: How to balance professional, family and personal life” (Ariel 2007) “Being a Family-responsible company: ¿Luxury or need?” (Pearson Prentice Hall 2006), “Female Ambition: How to Reconcile Work and Family (Palgrave 2005). She is also author of the book Directors’ Rotation which earned the EADA prize in 1996. She has received severals awards including the FEDEPE prize for Woman Manager of the year in 2001 or the Interban Networki prize for “Most Valuable Speaker 2007”.
