Mireia Las Heras
Mireia is an Assistant Professor at IESE Business School –University of Navarra, Spain-where she serves as the Research Director of the International Center for Work and Family. She got her degree on Industrial Engineering at the Polytechnic School of Catalonia, specializing on Industrial Organization, in Barcelona-Spain, and holds an MBA from IESE Business School, and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Boston University.
In 2009 she has co-edited a book on work family, “A Practical Guide for Implementing Effective Work Family Policies Across Countries,” and she has published other articles and book chapters in work family integration, career development and leadership in journals such as Journal of Organizational Behavior and Harvard-Deusto. She is currently editing a book on Work-Family together with Prof. Steven Poelmans and Prof. Jeff Greenhaus, and has recently finished editing a book on Female Leadership with Prof Debeljuh.
She is actively involved in an international project of Career Management (5C), and she is also working on different projects that focus on Career Management, Dynamism of Career Success and its interplay with Work and Family Integration. She is an active consultant and coach in the area of Work Family Balance and Career Development for NCH&Partners.
