Wisdom in Action
Transforming people, organizations and society
It is with a sense of urgency that you are invited to join a group of women and men; executives, managers, entrepreneurs, consultants, NGO leaders, artists and change agents, for the most outstanding leadership conference of the year.
This is your unique chance to be part of a moment in history where we will look at the current crisis as an opportunity and start transforming ourselves, organizations and society with wisdom and conscious action.
This three-day learning event gives you a platform to start a new journey.
The workshops give you tools to cultivate the courage to change, the plenary sessions the inspiration; and the company of hundreds of wonderful women and men, the web of contacts to help you succeed.
Courage, commitment and community; this is W.I.N.
Being part of W.I.N. & a new way of Networking
W.I.N.’s goal is to evoke change through authenticity and raising feminine and global awareness to create a sustainable future. It requires that we inspire success based on individuality, cultivating authentic leadership and encouraging feminine styles of doing business.
W.I.N. is a conference where who you are - and how you do anything - matters. For us a network is a working net and an environment in which everyone can flourish. The rules of networking are few: be open, be willing to connect, quick to contribute, ready to take risk, never accept the unacceptable, commit, have fun and receive and feel the magic.

W.I.N. mobilizes women in Asia
April 4-5, 2009 TOKYO
It is with incredible optimism W.I.N. left Tokyo after W.I.N. Japan’s two-day event combining inspiring presentations, lively debate and purposeful networking. It all took place at the trendy and stylish Fiat Caffé. W.I.N.’s founder, Kristin Engvig, was joined by Nelia Barnard, Counselor of the South African Embassy to Japan, Yuka Tanimoto, anchor for Nikkei CNBC, and a host of other exceptional speakers to consider feminine and authentic leadership globally and from the perspective of women working and living in Japan. With millions of highly-educated women, such inherent understanding of systems, community, quality, energy, beauty and with an incredibly strong concern for the future, W.I.N. is optimistic on behalf of Japan. Despite stories of “work until you drop”, there were also the stories of entrepreneurs emerging with new approaches and established Japanese corporations trying out new work schemes. The west may have a challenge with grasping the whole, the Japanese with individuality. We need both!
In closing, here’s thanking the organizing committee and the women and men who came to the event. Love and courage to the pioneers of Japan. W.I.N. will be back.
