Testimonials

…on a personal note I wanted to say a huge THANK YOU. I am still energized from the conference and all the amazing women I met there. The topics, presentations, panels, workshops and the participants themselves made it an extraordinary event. It has made me realize that a lot of the questions I have been asking myself are being asked by women all around the world. It has helped me to set new goals for myself in a really tangible way and in all sorts of directions - not just for my career - but also spiritually and in my other interests.

I would like to thank you personally and all your fantastic team for having given me a new hope for my dreams, new energy through the wonderful feeling of solidarity and exchange of skills and laughter. This W.I.N. conference 2003 has been thrilling all way long and has given me the exact kick I needed to have the courage, and not the fear, to think big, think networking, think friends and shaping my project. It was a wonderful conference and a real useful platform for giving new ideas and actions for a better and more sustainable gender-balanced world. And last but not least, it was a unique opportunity to have exquisite encounters with hundreds of wonderful women!

You truly are a WINsome and WINning team!

This was the fifth time I attended W.I.N. Conference and I am addicted. To coin a phrase from a conversation I had with Avivah and Linda - it is wonderful to see how we have all grown. And we certainly have...I would also add that the W.I.N. Conference "came of age" this year. It was polished and highly professional without losing its highly personal and unique flavor. This year, the speakers were inspiring; the workshops, constructive and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Congratulations to the team for an outstanding job.

I would like to tell you how inspiring and motivating the conference this year was. It is my 3rd W.I.N. and I am absolutely thrilled about the whole organization, which was outstanding. So were the speakers and the "ambiance". I know that in 1999 I wrote that W.I.N. is the best conference I have ever been and I can only confirm that. Please go ahead with your open spirit.

A warm thank you for an event wonderfully organized. Exupery said "the most important is invisible" and I found this to be very true from two perspectives. Firstly I was impressed to see the organization running very smoothly. When you do not see hick ups as participant it means a lot of work has happened and is happening in the background and a lot of people have been thinking things thru. Well done - and you still had fun, right? Secondly it was overwhelming to see the networking atmosphere you were able to generate amongst ALL participants. We listened to inspirational speakers and were able to select from a broad variety of very professional run work shops, but what makes people return to this event is in my believe the possibility for very open exchange of experiences. I left with a bundle of business cards and got a first support e-mail and a phone call on my first working day after the conference.

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed my first W.I.N. experience, it totally surpassed all my expectations and came away feeling hugely motivated and inspired, having trouble coming down from my cloud of inspiration! The speakers I listened to were huge in their variety of subject, but bonded by the common theme of helping other women and networking, they were truly inspirational.

I'd just like to congratulate you on a fantastic conference (well, the bit of it I was able to enjoy - and I'm sure it went on in the same vein!). I came out of the first day wishing I had been able to attend the whole event, and determined to do so next year! You have created a really empowering environment, which, after even one day, you leave on a high! I had to drive back to Basel in the evening, but I'm sure the welcome party was also a great success.

Thank you for the opportunity to learn and share a few thoughts with such an interesting group of winners.

I wanted to congratulate you first of all, because you made it again! The W.I.N. conference was as interesting as ever, and the quality of the speakers was very high, something I assume must be very difficult to keep over the years...and in fact, you do manage to do it every year. Something I also found very good was the great atmosphere among your team, I can imagine that keeping the moral up must be difficult at times. Once the team is exposed to the outside world, like yours during the W.I.N. days, it is easy to see whether they enjoy doing it or not, and I must say they did it very well and one could see how motivated they were.

Many conferences have themes, this one has a vision.
Riffat Hassan, Professor in Religion, University of Louisville, USA

I attend international conferences on a pretty regular basis, the quality of W.I.N., in the logistics, in the focus on the topic and in the caliber of the key speakers is truly outstanding.
Nancy Bragard, Consultant, Foundation for Intercultural Learning, Paris

It was fantastic - the opportunity to network was great. The people were positive and everyone came away feeling that it was worth it.
Lisa Nash, The Dow Chemical Company

Can I say that it was easily the most constructive event I have ever attended. I'm always wary when people say that something was life-changing, but this certainly was. The Irish contingent will be back next year.
Anne Kennedy, Top Management, Octavo, Ireland

The W.I.N. 2000 Conference in Milan was heaven. The speakers were dynamite, the participants fantastic and Milan itself just the perfect venue. I am definitely going to try to make an annual pilgrimage to Milan for W.I.N.! It is truly is like an intellectual spa for the mind and soul.
Robin Pascoe, Relocation Author, The Expat Expert, Canada

I am impressed. Many good speakers and an incredible program. I look forward to next year.
Sigrun Vaksvik, Managing Director, ARTCO, Norway

I wanted to first applaud you on the magnificent job you have done to "make it happen". That slogan is modus operandai in the corporate world where I work.
Soon Mi Shin, SMS Business Solutions, Vienna

Thank you again for the opportunity of including me on your list of speakers. I have e-mails to the effect that I was able to make a difference for the women attending. From what I could gather it will be a huge point of transformation in their lives. Isn't it wonderful to provide something so meaningful to the planet?
Rachel Taylor, Speaker and Writer, Breakfree, New Zealand

Thank you so much, from the very bottom of my heart, for another life-changing experience. I wouldn't have thought W.I.N. 2000 would top W.I.N. 1999, and yet it did. I returned charged, enthused and inspired, and it already shows in my work (I did a large training program this week and have never been so highly evaluated). Kristin, you are a goddess, the speaker Agapi Stassinopoulos had it right. We salute you! Very, very warm regards, also to your amazing team.
Mary van der Boon, Director, Global TMC, Netherlands

Thank you for a great congress. This was my first time at a women's congress and you won me over. I was impressed at the level of all the speakers and the participants. Also, the organizing team gave an impression of being in control and enjoying the whole thing. I came back with a lot of energy won from having met so many great women and heard so many fascinating things. I will be there next year.
Ana Wachter, University of Chicago GSB, Spain

Congratulations on the conference. It was a pleasure to be there again. New York is definitely interested to get the conference here.
Sonja Schlegel Bichleman, CEO Global Expansion, USA

What a wonderful event! I see now what you meant when you said the event, and the people attending it, are special. I'll be writing a piece on the conference for www.flametree.co.uk, and will encourage all our users to consider attending next year.
Jayne Buxton, Co-Founder, Flametree, UK

It is amazing that you have managed to create something which reunites opposite poles: glamour and simplicity, New Economy issues and the most human feelings such as a woman's need to cuddle her child, high flyers and simple housewives, an American CEO with an Albanian journalist - it has been fascinating.
Jennifer Cancian, Graduate, Italy

Kristin and W.I.N. team - again this year was fantastic!!! How do you do that? I'm already looking forward to next year. It feels as if this has become a little family. The W.I.N. family. That really is lovely. Tell me if I can contribute in any way. I'll keep on recommending it to friends and colleagues and possible sponsors I meet on my way. Again - thank you for a most inspiring experience. It goes beyond and it changes and transforms on a large scale. Hugs and love.
Helen Eriksen, Beyond, Denmark

Congratulations with W.I.N.'99 both for the interesting theme, high-level speakers and the involvement of such important organizations and companies. Please continue this positive initiative.
Maria Grazia Randi, President Women World Banking, Italy

W.I.N. inspired me and stimulated me as a working person and as a woman. It placed me within the global context by giving an excellent overview of what is happening all over the world in terms of business, social issues, and working practices, of course focusing on women. It reassured me that I do not need to panic about creating a good and satisfying career. The speakers showed me that there is time, and a lot to do. This was one of the best things that I took away from W.I.N. The older women were wonderful mentors for me. It showed clearly how the dated aggressive approach to feminism had gone and the warmth and humanity, professionalism and seriousness of the women around radiated and gave the conference an unmatchable atmosphere.
Rebecca Oliver, Scientific Project Manager, S&H International

I am still feeling enthusiastic and I have spoken about the event to all my business partners.
