  • Transportation

To and from the airport “Ruzyne” Prague

By bus and subway: There are several buses going from the airport to subway stations: Prague has 3 subway lines A -> green, B -> yellow, C -> red. The nearest station to the Hilton Prague Hotel is Florenc, where the lines B & C cross (red and yellow). The shortest/quickest possibility from the airport is a bus number 119 with 2 transfers (from bus to the green line and from the green to either the yellow or red line) - it takes approx 45-50 minutes. A public transport ticket costs CZK 26.00 and valid 75 minutes. The link to the official web-page of Prague's public transport is http://www.dpp.cz/en/

By taxi: Taxi from Prague airport to the city center is approx. CZK 600 or Euro 20-25. Pick up outside all terminals. If you take a taxi, we advise you to negotiate a price before you get in. Transportation also can be arranged by private limousine service of the Hilton hotel - one way transfer to/from the airport costs CZK 800.00/Euro 30 (flat rate).

    Useful information about Prague

Prague is a magical, golden city of cobbled streets and a hundred spires, but, most importantly, a city that is always amazing and original. It is filled with beauty and can be enjoyed and explored for days, months, or a lifetime. The city has its charm at any time of the year. The main sightseeing areas of Prague are separated by the Vltava River. On the left bank there is the Prague Castle area and Lesser Town. The right bank is home to the Old Town, the Jewish Quarter, and the New Town. Spanning the Vltava River and connecting the Old Town and Lesser Town is the beautiful Charles Bridge. We recommend you to bring comfortable shoes for the Guided tour. Stores in the center of Prague stay open until 8 or 10 p.m. and some are open 24 hours a day. Most stores are open on weekends. The following website gives you useful information about: attractions, museums, activities, shopping, as well as a map and a weather forecast www.CzechTourism.com.
