Kristin Engvig, CEO & Founder, WIN & WINConference, President GCF, speaker and global thought leader. A global citizen and pioneer for women and feminine authentic leadership, Kristin created WIN 27 years ago to bring alive a vision of a more feminine, global and sustainable way at work, in communities and life. In her early career she worked for JP Morgan, Citibank and Innovation Norway, EU and as a strategy and marketing consultant. She is a Business Economist (BI, Oslo) with an MBA (Milan’s Bocconi). She reached Master Level in the Zen Arts (Acting), is a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher and has completed a wealth of interdisciplinary studies and practices for many years. She has worked with women leaders on all continents – especially Italy, Japan, India, Nigeria and Middle East. She has hosted many global meetings including at the UN, won many global awards for her work and is a recognized mentor and inspirational speaker. She grew up in Norway and has spent her post university years globally.

Long BIO & Story

A global pioneer for women and authentic female leadership, Kristin founded WIN from her kitchen table in Milan 27 years ago - to bring to life a vision of a more feminine, global and sustainable way of

working, leading and being in the world, at work and in life.

 

Tens and thousands of women and hundreds of world-class companies have participated in WIN’s live experiences across Europe, as well as in India, Nigeria, Japan, United Arab Emirates and elsewhere. She has impacted millions of people worldwide.

 

Through her innovative talents she has created, designed and written the agenda and facilitated numerous global leadership programmes and high-level meetings around the world. Kristin has always worked with multicultural global teams and has had full budget responsibility, ensuring the financial sustainability of the WIN organisation through her own fundraising efforts since its inception in 1997.

 

She grew up in Kristiansund, Norway as a member of a family with a lineage of seven generations in photography. A single mother of Leonardo she now resides in Switzerland. She has lived in several countries and is passionate about justice, creativity, voice, nature and family. She has struggled through all types of adversity including abuse in all its forms.

 

The uniqueness of her work lies in the way it is created; a sacred creative journey.

A business economist (BI, Oslo) with an MBA (Milan's Bocconi) her post university career began working for JP Morgan, Citibank and Innovation Norway, EU and as a strategy and marketing consultant. This was great research and inspired her to achieve a new modality; the WIN wisdom way.

 

She has gained a wealth of interdisciplinary wisdom including mastery in coaching, acting and yoga. She has achieved Master Level in the Zen Arts (Acting), is a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher and has practised and experienced many spiritual pathways throughout her life. She has the deep wisdom and experience to understand how emotional and spiritual intelligence are critical to navigating an increasingly unpredictable world.

She sits on numerous boards and is regarded as a voice not only for female leadership but also for a new, more harmonious way of being in a multicultural world. Having travelled the world and worked daily with women from every continent for decades, she builds bridges and finds common ground with the most diverse people.

 

She is a sought-after global inspirational speaker and mentor to many women around the world. She delivers speeches, facilitates, moderates, chairs and anchors meetings in a way that makes everyone in the room shine. President of the Global Citizen Forum she promotes oneness, going beyond gender, religion and nationality to achieve harmonious global peace.

 

She has participated in many global meetings, such as the W7 of the G7 and the Nobel Peace Prize Forum, and also chaired the Women in Leadership meeting in the SDG tent during Davos 2020. She advocates for feminine qualities, not just women at all of these venues.

 

She chaired Women Inspiring a Peaceful and Sustainable Future, co-produced by WIN and GCF and hosted by CSPOC at the UN in Geneva in 2022 &23 & and Women Inspiring Global Harmony in 2024.

 

A natural philanthropist, she has donated to girls' education, projects, training and learning events around the world. She has awarded more than a thousand full scholarships to women and thousands of subsidised tickets to attend WIN for those in need. Over the years this has amounted to many millions of Euros. She has mentored, guided and trained thousands of women as an act of service to the awakening of the feminine. She has provided a platform for women who otherwise would not have had a chance to make their voices heard.
